We're BACK!
NOMADIC Yoga Festival is back and we couldn't be more excited to share this newly re-vamped event with our New Mexico Community. We want to thank Ashley Fathergill and YogaZo for the initial idea and creation of this event and to Blissful Spirits for trusting us to capture and continue the intention of NOMADIC for years to come.

Our love of New Mexico and Yoga truly embodies the meaning of "Nomadic" - always learning, growing, and finding a home within ourselves no matter our surroundings. In NOMADIC 2026, we want to invite all bodies to our space and hope you connect to a community where abilities and uniqueness are celebrated. You will find a festival that is geared towards making yoga accessible; whether you're a lifetime practictioner, or just learning what a yoga mat is -
NOMADIC is a space for ALL.
It is an honor to be able to bring NOMADIC Yoga Festival back and share in our love of yoga and New Mexico culture and community.

What is NOMADIC?
NOMADIC is a festival created to celebrate health, community, and movement and come together in a safe, welcoming space for all bodies. Nomadic means to embrace a lifestyle of exploring and finding your home wherever you're at. Join us for two days of belonging, and finding your COMMUNITY, PRACTICE, CONNECTION, and SELF.
The festival will include four tracks for attendees to enjoy:
1) The Physical Body - Roll out your mat and MOVE.
2) The Subtle Body - relax and ground with meditation, breathwork, and somatic work.
3) The Cognitive Body - geek out with presentations on why yoga is so effective.
4) Military + First Responders - find yoga classes and presentations that are specifically focused on resilience and recovery.
In between sessions, be sure to check out the market and visit local businesses, nonprofits, coffee shops, food trucks and so much more sharing what they love and are passionate about with you.

There is so much for New Mexico to share and this is the place to do just that. Our culture, community and of course our Yoga scene is something that we want to bring light to.

Our Mission
Our Vision
Our mission is to create a space of community and connection where ALL BODIES can feel safe to explore their own yoga practice. NOMADIC is intended for all levels, abilities, and ages.
Our vision for NOMADIC is to grow for years to come and make a place for everyone to share their love of yoga, both on and off the mat.
Meet The Team
Calle Poindexter
I discovered NOMADIC Yoga Festival during my Yoga Teacher Training with YogaZo in 2019 and have been practicing yoga in various capacities for over 20 years. My background is in nonprofit management and therapeutic riding - fostering independence for individuals with disabilities through the movement of the horse. After moving to NM in 2017, I started my contracting company, High Point, to provide niche services to nonprofits to help them further their impact. Through the menagerie of events I've curated with High Point, my favorite moments are always seeing the beauty and diversity in the crowds and memories made among friends, old and new. The passion in the NM community is palpable, and it is an honor to be a part of it. In 2019 I developed Ashva Yoga, a curriculum that empowers individuals through the practice of yoga and partnership with the horse and currently teach private lessons to Veterans at Horses For Healing, among my other projects with High Point.

I’ve been practicing yoga for about 9 years, and it’s become a place where I feel both grounded and a little in the clouds at the same time. Some days it challenges me, and other days it simply lets me move and be exactly where I am. Yoga has taught me how to listen to my body with more care and compassion. Being part of the team helping to coordinate the Nomadic Yoga Festival gives me the opportunity to engage with this community in a different way - supporting connection not just on the mat, but behind the scenes as well. It’s a beautiful chance to gather, share, and celebrate a practice that continues to shape how I move through the world.
